Moving Mission is Complete

So I totally missed updating the entire month of February.  But I've been in recovery mode.  Moving threw me for a loop.  That had to be one of the hardest things - not THE hardest - but one of the hardest things that I've done in my 43 years.  (The closing on our house actually took place on my 43rd birthday so I can officially say "in my 43 years.")  :>)

I started slow and didn't get in too big of a hurry until the last couple of weeks when it seemed as though it was really happening.  And then the realtor called and said things went more quickly than expected and asked if we could close a week early.  We discussed it, and I said "let's do it."  I was ready to kick things into high gear and get the process over with.  At the time, I couldn't imagine how we were going to get to the other side of this thing, but it happened, and I think I'm finally "over" it and ready to move on to the next phase.

In the meantime, we're staying with my dad, and I think it's a win/win.  (I was thinking the other day that it would be nice if my dad had a blog, LOL!, and then I would know what he's really thinking, but I'm pretty sure he's okay with this.)  We're helping take care of my aunt who lives here as well, cooking, etc., and he has more freedom to get out and about, which is good.  And I'm enjoying the hotel feel, less responsibility aspect of all this, which is temporary I know, but I'll take it for now.  I think it's all good.

And here's a look back at February.....

Out of all the things we left behind when we moved.....
